Event recap: Jeffrey Fashion Cares turns 21!
Boots,
bows, gloves, feathers, jewel tones, colorful prints. The runway at this year’s
Jeffrey Fashion Cares was full of these! Jeffrey Kalinsky’s impeccable
collection of fall trends left you wanting to run straight into his store at
Phipps Plaza and snag them all up.
This
year was a big year for JFC: It celebrated its 21st anniversary! To
commemorate its coming-of-age, the event featured stunning fashions from
Proenza Schouler, Lanvin, Valentino, Erdem, Emilio Pucci, Narcisco Rodriguez,
and Oscar de la Renta, to name a few.

Guests sipped on ABSOLUT Tune -- a
sparkling fusion of white wine and vodka -- as they mingled with local celebs,
like RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey, Project Runway’s Mychael Knight, CNN’s Brooke
Baldwin, and Kicks 101.5’s Jenn Hobby.

Over
the last 21 years, the event has raised more than $11 million for local breast
cancer and AIDS charities. I had the honor of being part of the planning
committee for JFC this year and am so proud to have participated in this event!
