Feast Your Eyes: Brunch at Salt Yard

I’ve been dying to dine at Salt Yard since its opening. Leave it to the lovely Erica Key of Eating with Erica to give me a reason to head to the Brookwood Hills eatery: Her Little Black Dress Brunch event!

This was no ordinary brunch—it was a four-course meal with bottomless mimosas and a chance to meet some of Atlanta’s best up-and-coming entrepreneurs.

Located in the heart of the city on Peachtree Road, the restaurant looks like a page out of a Restoration Hardware catalogue, with wooden tables and chairs, muted colors and floor-to-ceiling windows. Salt Yard boasts a “carefully edited selection” of small plates, and for brunch, Chef Nick Leahy didn’t disappoint. Check out the photos of the incredible food and the gorgeous setting below:
Salt Yard is beautifully laid out and has great atmosphere

First course: Burrata with grilled asparagus, arugula pesto (ridiculously good) & pine nuts

Second course: Mascarpone-stuffed, local brioche French toast with housemade blueberry pecan maple syrup

Third course: Skillet eggs with roasted mushrooms, sausage & sourdough toast

Fourth course: Meyer lemon creme brulee with blackberries
