New Taste Tuesday: Hob Nob

Now that it has stopped pouring for weeks on end and the perfect fall weather is here, it’s finally possible to enjoy a warm, hearty meal to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Maybe even on a patio!

Luckily, Hob Nob has both: Warm, hearty meals and lovely outdoor seating.

WHY GO: Because it’s a great little neighborhood spot.

THE VIBE: Welcoming & comfortable. Fireplaces and dark wooden tables inside; outside, a charming patio lined with greens.

DRINK THIS: Anything from the Tails of Cocktails menu! My favorite is the Knock Knock Who Is There cocktail, which is made with rye, ginger, basil and balsamic! Wha…? Who would have thought to put balsamic in a cocktail? But it works and it is super tasty!
If you only order one thing, let it be a cocktail!

The perfect happy hour
EAT THIS: The new fall additions to the menu are perfect for this weather, especially the pot roast. It’ll make you feel toasty and happy inside!

As a starter, consider the tomato and burrata salad or the mother load nachos.

If you’re in the mood for something smoky, go for the pork belly and arugula pizza.

But if you’re trying to stay healthy, check out the Mother Nature salad, which is loaded with good-for-you stuff, including quinoa, avocado, veggies and tasty pickled red onions.
